Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing us and trusting us for your diving and/or snorkeling activities in Bali. By booking our services, it means that you agree with our Terms and Conditions below:

Pre-Conditions for Diving

– Certified divers need to present proof of certification.
– All divers will need to sign a self-assessment medical statement and a risk & liability release. In some cases, a medical statement signed by a doctor may be required.
– Divers under the age of 18 need to provide written parental/guardian consent allowing them to dive.

Refresher course

A refresher course is required for certified divers who have been inactive for the following periods:
– less than 50 logged dives and inactive for 1 year or more;
– less than 100 logged dives and inactive for 2 years or more;
– all divers inactive for more than 5 years.

Diving Insurance

– Beginners are covered with us by Dive Assure against decompression sickness for all SSI Courses – entry levels.
– As a certified diver, it is your responsibility to subscribe to personal diving insurance. It is not mandatory in Indonesia, however, we highly recommend our divers to do so. We can recommend different options based on your needs.

Trust and safety ⭐

– We ask our customers to trust our dive guides and instructor’s experience, and more specifically to follow their instructions as we take safety very seriously.
– We also reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or change the dive sites at any time due to weather or factors beyond our control.

Respect Marine Life 💙

– We ask our divers and snorkelers to not touch or harass marine life.
– We kindly ask our divers to pay attention to their fins and buoyancy to not damage the corals.
– Feeding fish, collecting shells, corals, or any living or dead organisms from the sea is strictly prohibited.

Photo & Video Release

Participants (or their guardians) grant permission for photo & video footage taken during diving and snorkeling activities to be used for promotional purposes, including on social media and in printed materials. If you prefer not to have your images used, please inform us in writing before the trip.

Please note that our tours are based on interactions with wildlife in the ocean, and as such no guarantees can be made that specified interactions will occur on any given day, nor that weather conditions will be ideal.

Be gentle – “Hati hati”

All dive equipment provided by Nico Dives Cool is under the responsibility of the customer. Damage to or loss of dive equipment will be charged at cost price.

Personal belongings

Please note that you are responsible for your personal belongings. Nico Dives Cool is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft.

Payment methods

We ask for a 50% deposit to confirm any booking.
Payments in Bali can only be settled in IDR (Indonesian rupiah). You can pay us by cash in IDR, by transfer, or at our office with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express, +3% charge).

Cancellation policy

We always do our best to accommodate any changes. However, as we incur costs if you don’t cancel on time, we must charge some cancellation fees to protect ourselves.

● For diving courses, diving, and snorkeling trips :
–   20% of the agreed price for the booked services is non-refundable from the moment that the booking is confirmed.
–   For cancellations 1 week before the trip, customers will be charged 50% of the agreed price.
–   For cancellations within 48 hours before the start of the trip, we will charge 100% of the agreed price.

● For dive safaris or packages including accommodations:
–   20% of the agreed price for the booked services is non-refundable from the moment that the booking is confirmed.
–   If the cancellation occurs between 15 and 30 days before the starting date of the program, the customer will be charged 50% of the agreed price.
–   For cancellations between 3 and 15 days before the starting date of the program, the customer will be charged 75% of the agreed price.
–   For cancellations up to 72 hours before the starting date of the program, the customer will be charged 100% of the agreed price.
–   As soon as the program starts, any unused services and accommodations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
