Duration: 3 Days (Technical)
Day 1: Theory & Confined Water: In-depth equipment briefing, gas and battery planning, mastering buoyancy, and trim with the DPV and tech gear.air sharing with dpv/ascent.
Day 2: Open Water Skills: Two dives focusing on technical maneuvers, failure drills, and navigation on Bali’s best coral reefs.
Day 3: Technical DPV explorations: Two full technical dives applying your skills on Bali’s best dive spots.
During your diving training, you will gain practical skills while exploring some of Bali’s most stunning open water locations in Bali using a DPV. Potential Bali dive sites for this course include:
Navigate deep lava walls and volcanic slopes from 40 to 60 meters, passing gorgonian fans and thriving reef life. Use your DPV to search for sharks, Mola-Mola, and rare macro species while enjoying calm conditions and ideal decompression profiles.
Explore the deep Boga Wreck and the dramatic Canyon, traversing volcanic depths and ridges between 40 and 60 meters. This area offers diverse terrain and clear, calm conditions perfect for advanced DPV exploration and great decompression dives.
Ride your DPV along steep walls at Jemeluk reaching 50 meters, rich with fish and sponges, before ascending to vibrant plateaus. Finish your dive at the famous Pyramids, using your DPV to cover ground across these thriving artificial reefs.
Use your DPV for long, easy searches between 20 and 40 meters to reveal hidden macro treasures like Rhinopias and frogfish. Traverse Shark Point and the Jepun Wreck, cruising coral slopes and pinnacles before ascending through vibrant reefs for decompression.
Ride your DPV through the Gili Tepekong tunnel to reach deep coral plateaus and walls between 40 and 55 meters. Explore Gili Mimpang’s massive reefs and the Gili Biaha shark cave, using your power to handle strong currents and cover the best spots for Mola-Mola and reef sharks. Finish your dive along rich, vibrant walls while completing decompression in these exciting and diverse deep waters.
Ride your DPV along the five-kilometer north coast reef for long drift dives, or use it at Crystal Bay and Blue Corner to handle unpredictable currents. Head down to deep slopes and walls between 30 and 50 meters to increase your chances of spotting Mola-Mola, marble rays, and thresher sharks. Finish your diving day at Manta Point, cruising the deep walls to look for Mola-Mola and coral plateaus to find manta rays and bamboo sharks while completing decompression.
