It’s a big responsibility to teach new divers to safely explore the underwater world. As an SSI Dive Instructor, you also get to teach continuing diving education programs that create enthusiastic divers.

With our SSI Dive Instructor Course, you are expected to take an active role in the training process for real guests. We further teach sustainable diving practices with the right attitude and role modeling. Because we are a small family dive shop you get to know the entire operation from A to Z.

During the training course, you will develop your leadership skills and learn how to pass on your knowledge and experience to your students. We take our role very seriously to train dedicated, patient, and caring diving instructors.

About the SSI Dive Instructor Course

The SSI Dive Instructor Course will prepare you fully for your SSI Instructor Examination Day.

Throughout the course, we will be teaching you how to demonstrate diving skills from beginner to advanced, and pro divers.

We will help you to prepare both theory and practical skills so you become a confident and prepared dive instructor.

Duration for the SSI Dive Instructor Course

The duration of the course depends highly on how fast you can absorb the diving theory and learn to demonstrate diving skills. Typically we allocate 2-3 weeks to prepare for the Instructor examination. We can tailor the length to your time requirements, however we want you to be a confident Dive Professional before we send you to the Instructor examination.
