The SSI Extended Range Trimix training program is the core program that all other open-circuit programs build on. This program is the start of your exciting journey to become an accomplished tech diver.

Become an Extended Range Diver

Using either a sidemount or twinset configuration, this program prepares you to plan and conduct decompression dives for a maximum accumulated decompression time of 25 minutes to a maximum depth of 45 meters. You will learn the techniques and procedures for using trimix breathing gases and nitrox mixtures of up to 100% oxygen for decompression. You will earn the SSI Extended Range Trimix diver certification after completing this program and gain new tech diver knowledge.

Pre-requisites:

Must be 18 years old or above
Have a MEDICAL FORM SIGNED BY A PHYSICIAN within 12 months stating you are fit to dive
Having a personal dive insurance (mandatory)
Open Water certification, Deep diving certification, Nitrox 40% certification
XR Foundations or XR Sidemount certification
Have at least 50 logged dives

Day 1: Pool and Theory
Day 2: 2 dives in Padang Bai / Tulamben / Amed (30 m)
Day 3 : 2 dives in Padang Bai / Tulamben / Amed (40 m)
Day 4 : 2 dives in Padang Bai / Tulamben / Amed (45 m)
