The Wreck Diving Course is a great course to improve your ability to safely explore sunken underwater shipwrecks (and not just ships!).

It is an unbelievable experience to see a big ship from a bird’s perspective and to glide towards the captain’s bridge. But there are also tragedies related to wrecks. Diving on wrecks is exciting and there are some potential risks too, but with the right training, Wreck Diving will become a great adventure.

Wrecks are fascinating windows to the past. Wreck diving allows you to submerge yourself, quite literally, into the history of the wrecks you are diving at. Ships, airplanes, and even cars are fascinating to explore and usually teem with aquatic life. This is because Wrecks often form artificial reefs

During the Wreck Diving Course, you will learn where and how to get background information on wrecks, how to locate wrecks, and how to prepare for a wreck dive. Your instructor will teach you how to apply the correct wreck diving techniques as well as evaluate and avoid the potential risks while diving into wrecks.

What differentiates us from other Dive Centres

At Nico Dives Cools we want you to have the best learning experience possible. This is why we keep our student ratios to dive instructors extremely low. Compared to other large dive centers you get a highly personalized course and diving practice experience. Very often our experienced diving instructor will only teach one student at a time. In general, we prefer to have no more than two students per instructor so we can ensure a quality education. Also, this is the key reason why Nico Dives Cool has such an amazing 5-star reputation amongst its customers. Having said that we can be flexible (add more Instructors) if you want to do your course with several people. Simply let us know your preferences and we will make sure that you have a fantastic learning experience.

What is included in the Wreck Diver Course?

On the day of your diving course, we will pick you up from your hotel and later drop you off too. On the drive we review your diving knowledge, to make sure you have a good grasp of the diving theory required for the course.

We only use high-quality gear, from trusted scuba gear producers such as, Apeks or Aqualung.

In the water, we will complete all required skills exercises over two 2 dives, outside of the water we will work on the theory. We will take you to either Tulamben, Amed, Kubu, or Padang Bai to complete your training dives. All these sites have wrecks but we recommend Tulamben for its world-famous and large wreck and Kubu with the Boga Wreck because it is beautiful and impressive.
