The SSI Extended Range Twinset Foundations program provides you with an opportunity to enhance your advanced diving skills in a workshop environment.

With the SSI Extended Range Twinset Foundations, we will teach you how to use a twinset in technical configuration. With this course, you will build upon your basic skill set to master buoyancy, trim, finning techniques, positioning, and underwater communication.

Become a Extended Range Twinset Foundations Diver

The Extended Range Twinset Foundations program provides supplementary training to existing certifications to increase your confidence and in-water control. All in-water sessions are completed in a pool/confined water environment at depths less than 12 meters. On the 3rd day, we’ll practice confined water 3 and 4 in Padang Bai or Tulamben for real-world practice. You will earn the SSI Extended Range Twinsets Foundations certification after completing this program.

What you learn with the XR Twinset Foundation Course:

– Advanced Buoyancy & Trim: achieve near-perfect trim and buoyancy control.

– Propulsion & Positioning: master advanced finning techniques (frog kick, backward kick, helicopter turns) and body positioning.

– Technical gear familiarization: learn to use the technical gear setup in twinset configuration.

– Communication: develop efficient underwater communication signals to avoid any confusion.

– Skill refinement: improve and perfect your basic skills, build up muscle memory for more safety and comfort.

Pre-requisites:

Open-water certified or equal
minimum 24 logged dives
18 years old or above

Course Duration:

3 days program

Course Schedule:

Day 1: Class and preparation workshop

Day 2: Confined water 1 and 2 for XR (in the pool) + water fitness for XR + video debriefing

Day 3: Confined water 3 and 4 (in the sea, 12 m) in Padang Bai or Tulamben or Amed + video debriefing
