BASIC DIVER PROGRAM - 1 day training / 2 dives in the Ocean

This program gives you the opportunity to experience the underwater world, in a confined water (pool or shallow water) and open water setting – without committing to a longer certification program.

The Basic Diver Certification SSI is valid 6 Months and allows you to dive until 12 meters depth, under the supervision of an instructor. This program is actually the first part of the Open Water Course.

Note: Possibility to do an upgrade course within 6 months to become an Open Water diver (autonomous diver).

Schedule: 1 full day

Basic Dive Theory : our instructor will explain you all you need to know
Get familiar with your dive gear : presentation and use
Practice some basic skills in confined water (Pool or shallow water)
Explore the Open Water (ocean) with our instructor who will guide you in this amazing discovery: 2 dives in the ocean.

8 and 9 years old kids can try scuba diving with Nico. As a specially trained instructor, Nico can teach Scuba Rangers Programs from 8 years old.

OPEN WATER PROGRAM - 3 days training / 4 dives in the Ocean

This globally-recognized certification program is the best way to begin your life-long adventure as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater.

You will earn the Open Water Diver certification which allows you to dive without an instructor but with a buddy, open water diver or higher level, until 18 meters depth. The Open Water certification is the first autonomous level, which will give you the key to the wonderful Open Water World.

Note: This certification is valid forever. However, if you haven’t dive for a long period of time (12months of more) it is recommended to do a refresher course, to review your skills and enjoy your dives better.

Schedule : 3 full days

Day 1: Pool sessions + theoretical course
Day 2: Open Water Dives 1 and 2 in Padang Bai (dive from a jukung)
Day 3: Open Water Dives 3 and 4 in Tulamben (dive directly from the shore)
